Izakaya Nat-chan
A Japanese style bar, with friendly owners that include veggies and ingredients from their family farm when available. Their “kara-age” (Japanese style fried chicken) and generous portions are something to write home about. There’s also a Karaoke room in the back if you want to spend a night doing “Kara-age” Karaoke.
Known for: Deep fried chicken, cheese and burdock, Large-portion sizes, Karaoke.
Open: 5pm-10pm all week.
Homestyle Chinese Restaurant “Beni-Chan”
Delicious home-style Chinese food and a friendly, generous owner. Try her “yaku-zen-nabe” (Chinese herbal medicine hotpot) for a once in a life time meal. Using seasonal ingredients and traditional Chinese herbal medicine, this dish will warm you up on a chilly mountain night.
Known for: “Yaku-zen nabe”, Mabo Tofu, Ramen

Pizza - Ryogoku Tsuribashi Chaya “Capra”
The best slices in Kawanehoncho, all dough is handmade and ingredients specially chosen. Located riverside, this is the perfect place to grab a slice, some sodas, and have a picnic below the “Ryogoku” (Two countries) suspension bridge.
Known for: Delicious pizza, vegan option available.
